Victorian horseshoe bonnet c1880s made from black mourning crape velvet and feathers beadwork and lacing a very royal looking hat Although this would have been made exclusively for mourning, this design sits covering the back of the head and ties beneath the chin with velvet ribbons There are long velvet ribbons to tie the hat is made by Jordan’s of Rochdale as the label determines Hat is quite fragile given it’s age but very wearable still sequins are mildly tarnished but otherwise a beautiful hat 9” wide by 6” top to bottom along the centre line
