Vintage 1960s Brown Leather Shoes, Made in England Buckle Shoes, Chunky Heel Retro Shoes, Mod Shoes, UK 2.5
Description
A fabulous pair of original 1960s brown leather shoes, Made in England and featuring a wonderfully distinctive chunky vintage silhouette.
Made from rich brown leather with a subtle textured finish, these have a broad rounded-square toe, decorative buckle detail across the front and a substantial low rubber heel and sole.
They have that unmistakable late 1960s look — practical and sturdy but still wonderfully stylish — and would work brilliantly with everything from a mini or shift dress to wide-leg trousers.
The leather has developed a lovely depth of colour with age, while the substantial sole makes these a particularly wearable pair of genuine vintage shoes.

Width: 3” approximately
Heel height: 1” approximately
Suggested modern size: UK 2.5, but vintage shoe sizing can vary considerably.

Fabric
Brown leather upper with leather lining and substantial rubber sole and heel.
Condition
Very good vintage condition with minor marks and signs of previous wear consistent with age.
There is some wear to the soles, but they remain sturdy and flexible. The leather presents very well overall.
Please review the photographs carefully as these form part of the description.
Styling Suggestion
These would look fantastic with a 1960s mini or shift dress and coloured tights for a proper period look, but I actually think they'd be great styled more casually too — cropped trousers, a roll-neck and a vintage jacket would make them feel surprisingly contemporary.
