Deadstock 1970s Jack Bryan Maxi Dress, Lime Green Chiffon Evening Gown, Silver Beaded Vintage Dress, Original Tags, 32 Bust
Description
An exceptional deadstock 1970s Jack Bryan evening gown, unworn and retaining its original paper tags.
Made in a beautiful pale lime green chiffon, this full-length gown has all the drama and romance of 1970s occasionwear. The fitted bodice is decorated with vertical rows of shimmering silver beading, drawing the eye towards the wide gathered waistband before falling into a wonderfully fluid floor-length skirt.
The sheer chiffon bishop sleeves add another layer of drama, with softly gathered cuffs balancing the high neckline and heavily embellished bodice.
The colour is particularly lovely — somewhere between pale lime, celadon and fresh spring green — and changes subtly with the light.
Most importantly, this dress survives unworn with its original tags, making it a particularly special find for a collector as well as a spectacular piece to wear.

Fabric
Lightweight sheer chiffon outer fabric with lining to the body and skirt. Exact fibre composition should be taken from the original garment label where present.
Condition
Exceptional deadstock vintage condition.
This dress has never been worn and retains its original paper tags — a remarkable survival for a garment dating from the 1970s.
As with any unworn vintage garment of this age, very minor signs of long-term storage may be present. Please review all photographs carefully as these form part of the description.
Styling Suggestion
This really needs very little. Silver heels, a small metallic evening bag and understated jewellery would allow the incredible beaded bodice to take centre stage.
It would be spectacular for a wedding guest, vintage ball, formal event or special occasion — although given the deadstock condition, it's equally tempting as a collector's piece.
