Description
An elegant pair of original late-1950s or early-1960s long dress gloves by Wear-Right, made from the company’s U-Plex cotton fabric.
These beautifully constructed gloves have long, flared gauntlet cuffs extending well beyond the wrist, with decorative hand-finished stitching following the fingers, thumbs and outer seams. Three small stitched details at each wrist add a subtle tailored finish.
The dramatic cuff shape is particularly evocative of 1950s evening and occasion wear. They would make a wonderful finishing touch for a vintage bridal outfit, formal ensemble, theatre costume or period display.

Condition
Good wearable vintage condition with visible signs of age. There is some general age-related discolouration and scattered light marks, together with wear and slight fraying to portions of the decorative stitching and finger edges. The ivory colour is not completely uniform. They remain very attractive and display beautifully, but are not pristine. Please study all photographs carefully.
