This beautiful late-1960s or 1970s maxi dress has a wonderfully romantic prairie silhouette and an intricate striped paisley print in shades of blue, turquoise, black and white.
Made from lightweight Dacron polyester fabric, the dress features a high frilled neckline, gently puffed shoulders and long sleeves finished with gathered frill cuffs. White crochet lace frames the collar and bib-style bodice, while three pearl-effect buttons add a delicate finishing detail.
The fitted bodice falls into a softly gathered full-length skirt, creating an elegant and very wearable vintage shape. A striking original piece with all the charm of the Victorian revival, folk and prairie styles of the era.

Condition
Very good vintage condition overall. The fabric and lace trim present beautifully. There is some light age-related wear to the pearl-effect buttons, as shown in the photographs, but this does not detract from the overall appearance of the dress.
