A wonderfully striking vintage necklace and ring set featuring softly polished pale-green stones with beautiful natural-looking variations, clouding and marbled detail.
The necklace combines chunky rounded beads with slender silver-tone tubular links, leading to an impressive oversized teardrop pendant. Its cool green colouring and dramatic scale give it a wonderfully sculptural look, balancing 1970s bohemian style with a clean Modernist feel.
The coordinating ring holds a substantial rectangular polished stone in an expressive, hand-worked wire setting. Its double-wire band and visible wrapped construction give it a fabulous artisan-made character.
The stones have not been professionally tested and may be serpentine, often sold as “new jade,” rather than true jadeite. They are therefore described simply as pale-green polished stone.

Condition:
Both pieces are in good wearable vintage condition with signs of age and previous use.
The stones display natural variations, small dark inclusions and irregularities within their colouring. The pendant has light surface marks and a little wear around its drilled opening. The silver-tone metal has minor marks and some tarnishing, particularly on the ring.
The ring has a handmade wire construction and may be slightly irregular in shape. It should be handled gently and not repeatedly bent or resized.
