A superb genuine antique detachable wing collar dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1900–1920. Crafted from traditional white Marcella (piqué) cotton, this crisp detachable collar features elegant pointed wings and would originally have been worn with a collarless formal shirt, secured with collar studs.
Inside is the original owner's name, R.F. Carter Jonas, together with the size marking 15. The collar also retains fragments of its original laundry labels, offering a wonderful glimpse into its history and provenance.
