Description
A wonderful original late 1960s to early 1970s children's playsuit by Cuckoo, retaining its original Cuckoo – Empire Made label.
This fabulous little one-piece playsuit is made from a wonderfully bold red floral fabric scattered with large white flowers and smaller daisy motifs – a brilliant example of the cheerful graphic prints used in children's clothing around the turn of the 1970s.
The design features a fitted bib-style bodice with wide shoulder straps, high-waisted shorts and a charming little patch pocket to the back. The shoulder straps fasten with buttons, while a metal zip provides the main fastening.
The combination of the tiny proportions, vivid flower-power print and original Cuckoo label makes this a particularly charming survivor of late-60s/early-70s children's fashion.
