Description
A superb vintage Adamsons Ltd country tweed waistcoat dating from approximately the late 1940s to early 1950s, produced by the respected British outfitters with premises in London, Oxford and Cirencester.
Made from a beautifully textured brown flecked wool tweed with subtle burgundy and cream tones, this waistcoat has all the hallmarks of traditional British country tailoring. It features a classic six-button front, four practical patch pockets, striped cotton lining and a brown satin back with the original waist adjuster.
An excellent piece for vintage country wear, shooting attire, Goodwood Revival, re-enactment or everyday heritage styling.
