A fabulous original late 1940s / early 1950s men’s leisure shirt in a beautifully muted striped fabric of olive green, brown and warm tan.
Cut in the relaxed, boxy silhouette associated with mid-century casualwear, the shirt features short sleeves, an open-style collar, button-through front and a single chest pocket.
The woven vertical stripe gives the fabric fantastic depth and texture, with alternating bands of deep green and earthy brown creating a wonderfully understated period look.
The chest pocket is cut on the bias, giving a subtle contrast against the vertical stripe of the body and adding an extra bit of tailoring detail.
