A handsome pair of original vintage men's black clip-on braces, believed to date from approximately the 1950s–1960s.
Made from wide black elasticated webbing with gold-tone metal fittings, these have a wonderfully classic mid-century formalwear appearance.
The braces feature four individual trouser clips with white gripping pads, adjustable front straps with gold-tone sliders, and a traditional crossed back construction.

Condition
Fair to good vintage condition with age-related wear.
There is noticeable stretching and wear to the webbing around the rear sections and clip attachments, as clearly shown in the photographs. There is also some general wear and patination to the metal fittings.
