Vintage 1960s 70s Grey Polka Dot Men's Braces – Retro Clip On Trouser Suspenders
Description
A wonderfully smart pair of vintage men's clip-on trouser braces, dating approximately from the 1960s to 1970s.
Made from narrow grey elasticated webbing decorated throughout with a tiny white polka-dot pattern, these have a wonderfully understated retro appearance.
The braces feature metal clip fastenings to the front and rear, metal length adjusters and a distinctive cream-coloured rear adjuster. The reverse of the webbing has a contrasting striped woven design, another lovely little period detail.
Unlike traditional button braces, these fasten directly onto the waistband, making them particularly easy to wear with both vintage and modern trousers.
A fabulous original menswear accessory with plenty of mid-century character — ideal with tailored trousers, tweed, vintage suits or for adding a subtle retro detail to contemporary tailoring.
