Description
A fabulous vintage Jaeger two-piece co-ord featuring a short-sleeved blouse and matching full skirt in a wonderfully bold nautical-inspired print.
The lightweight cotton fabric combines sunshine yellow and white stripes with elaborate navy scrollwork, compass-star motifs and ribbon banners reading “No. 0 Inch”. The dramatic placement print gives the set a wonderfully distinctive, almost baroque maritime look.
The blouse has a relaxed, boxy shape with a notched revere collar, short sleeves and pearlescent button fastening. It can be worn tucked into the skirt, loose over the waistband or separately with jeans or tailored trousers.
The matching midi skirt has a fitted waistband, belt loops, generous pleating and a full button-through front. Together, the pieces create a striking summer shirt-dress effect, while their versatility makes this an especially wearable vintage set.
Made in Great Britain by Jaeger and labelled to fit a 34–36 inch bust. Best suited to approximately a modern UK 10–12, depending on the measurements below.
