An authentic vintage Austin Reed white formal dress shirt, made in the traditional style for wear with a detachable collar. Featuring a finely ribbed marcella-style bib front, double cuffs and the original rear collar retainer tape, this is a superb example of classic British formal menswear.
The shirt retains its Austin Reed maker's label together with the embroidered owner's name "H. Jonas", adding an interesting touch of history. Designed to be worn with separate collar studs and a detachable collar, this style remained popular for formal evening dress well into the mid-20th century.
