A superb vintage British tweed flat cap bearing the wonderfully traditional “George Arthur Dunn” internal label.
Made in a beautifully understated brown and grey flecked tweed with subtle earthy tones throughout, this is a particularly handsome example of classic British country headwear.
The cap has a generous traditional shape with a short peak and panelled crown, together with a brown lining. The original black oval label is printed in elegant script with “George Arthur Dunn” and the size 7 1/8 beneath.
The styling, construction and label have a distinctly mid-century character, making this an especially appealing piece for collectors of traditional British menswear.
