An original vintage gentleman’s detachable shirt collar by Emerald Brand, in their Cabot style, dating from approximately the 1920s–1930s.
These traditional stiff white collars were designed to be worn separately from the shirt and were an essential part of smart gentleman’s dress during the early decades of the 20th century.
This example measures 1.5" in depth and is marked size 15. It comes from a group discovered together in their original Emerald Brand Cabot box and appears unused, making it a wonderful piece of original period menswear. The others have now sold, making this the final remaining example from the original group

Condition
Unused vintage stock with age-related storage marks and some light yellowing/discolouration.
Given the age of the collars, we have not attempted to clean or whiten them and will leave this decision to the buyer.
