A beautiful vintage St Michael full-length slip in soft ivory/cream, dating to approximately the late 1970s to 1980s.
Made from wonderfully soft, fluid 100% nylon, this is an elegant floor-length piece with a beautifully simple silhouette. The front features a deep V neckline, shaped seamed bust and a tiny satin bow at the centre, while the back has a lower scoop neckline. The skirt falls loosely from beneath the bust into a long, gently flared shape.
Originally designed as an undergarment, pieces like this also work beautifully as vintage nightwear or styled as a minimalist slip dress.
